MODEL OF TEACHERS COMPETENCE
ASSESSMENT IN HIGHER EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS BASED ON THE METHOD OF DATA ENVELOPMENT ANALYSIS
M.S. Mazorchuk, V.S. Dobriak
An approach to teachers
competence level assessment is presented. This study is designed for decision
support systems in higher educational
institutions (HEI). System of characteristic and their indicators for competence
assessment is developed. Mathematical model for professors and teaching staff
competence evaluation is developed. To develop the presented model has been used the method of data
envelopment analysis. DEA (data
envelopment analysis) method allows
us to calculate
an aggregate measure of performance
for each object, without requiring a priori assignment of weights
for the variables
used in the
analysis.
Key words: method of data envelopment analysis (DEA),
education quality, competence, production-possibility frontier, professors and teaching staff.
